It’s that time of year again

So I have a WIP that I chip away at every fall

TFATT is the first thing I started working on after finishing my debut. It started off as a cozy little fairy tale and has grown to be so much more than that. This will be the year that I finally finish it! For Good! No more rewrites. I’ve got an editor booked for next year & I hope to have this story out in the world by fall 2026. I’ve been holding on to the cover for this for MONTHS. I can hardly take it anymore so here she is:

In a few months, when the finished draft has gotten a few rounds of edits, I’ll set up ebook preorders!

The release of The Perfect Unicorn has gone better than I could’ve hoped.

And we have a hardcover coming next month!

Have I told you guys about my dragon WIP?

It’s a bit of a prequel story to Legends of Ravens. It focuses on new characters, the world below the clouds, and delves into the lore of the goddesses.

It’s a why choose fantasy romance full of adventure and star-crossed lovers with a bit of humor and lots of blood. Here’s a lil unedited snippet:

“Zuko,” I breathed, my hand on their chest, putting space between us.

“Zuko?” they teased, “not fucking dragon?”

“I misspoke.”

“Say it again.”

“No, never,” I turned away. “Fucking dragon.”

They cupped my cheek, making me face them. “Why not?”

Fire bloomed beneath my skin. After everything we just did, why was I blushing now? “Because I hate you.”

“You’re a terrible liar, love.”

“Stop calling me that.”

“No, never,” they mocked me, brushing their nose against mine. “Fucking witch.”

The draft is about 65% done and I intend to get back into it once TFATT is with beta readers.

I’ve spoken to a cover artist for this project but I don’t have an editor lined up yet so I don’t have a set date for release.

The main characters are Aspen, a sweet Kirin, Runera, a pissed off witch, and Azuko an obsessive dragon.

My story, Sinful Education, is the first story in the anthology!

There are seven stories in total, each encompassing different sin and virtue. The story I wrote for this anthology is my favorite thing I’ve written all year. I really challenged myself and it paid off and I couldn’t be more proud of it.
