Hello Hello Children of Chaos

Oh me oh my its more artwork

I can never focus on one thing at a time

TFATT is (still) sitting pretty at 70k

The first draft is still unfinished but we’ll get through it some how some way because we have an editor scheduled for next spring! But in the mean time, I have so much art for it. Some completed, some still in the sketching phase. This might sound similar to the last email…. that’s because it is and I have more art.

This update is mainly art.

They’re just the best aren’t they?!

I have a dragon project, a prequel story to Legends of Ravens, which is almost done with the first draft.-

These are two of the main characters.

Azuko the dragon shifter and Runera the witch.

Enjoy the art along with a snippet from the first page—

I was five years old when all the doors of opportunity shut in my face. Up until then, I’d held on to the hope that my fate would be different from the rest of the Dragon-owned— despite being just as much of a witch as they were. I’d convinced myself that I was different. I was meant for something more. That was before I witnessed a Claiming day. We were gathered at the highest point of the mountain, where the ground met the sky in a dizzying delusion of freedom. The worst part of Claiming days—as I would soon come to realize—was how perfect they were. The weather was neither too hot nor too cold; the usual humidity had taken the day off. Gentle breezes were eager to caress you; there was nary a cloud in the bright blue sky. It was one of the few occasions we were all granted permission to speak, and we all sang. A skin-tingling requiem filled the air as we prepared to send off our fellow witch. And then the dragon came.

Another Sketch!

Look at my girl learning to dance with her demons

So you know how I said I can never stay focused on one thing?

Remember the sketch from last time? It’s doneeee

Her name is Miluru and her history is a bit tragic and none of this is important because her book won’t be ready for another year but here you go.

Here’s a little visual of where I’m at in the drafting stage of the projects I’m currently focused on.

That’s it for now.

Thank you for enjoying my words. I hope the rest of your month is full of blessings and reasons to smile!
